A message from Jane South, Chair of Fine Arts:

As we come to the close of the academic year, I want to take a moment to thank our remarkable community and to express my sincere appreciation for all that you do.

To our graduating students, congratulations! It has been a privilege to witness the growth and evolution of your work, and we are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished. We look forward to seeing where your paths lead.

To our faculty and staff, thank you for the care, hard work, and imagination you bring to this department every day. Your contributions shape not only our programs, but the spirit of the community we share.

I am grateful to be part of such a thoughtful and collaborative group. That sense of mutual support feels especially meaningful in the current moment, and it continues to make a real difference.

Wishing you all a restful and restorative summer!

With appreciation,

Jane
